Geno is pleased to announce the appointment of Jorid Lybaek as their new Key Account Manager within the international business. In this role, Jorid will manage key client accounts within Europe and drive business growth for the company.
Bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her new position, Jorid graduated from the Norwegian Veterinary College in 1999, acquiring comprehensive knowledge in veterinary medicine. She has since built a successful career in various roles within the veterinary field.

Jorid's professional journey began in 2000 when she joined the Norwegian Animal Health Authority District as a District Veterinarian in Aurskog-Høland, Norway. During her tenure, she demonstrated exceptional skills in managing a diverse range of animal health. In 2003, Jorid transitioned to private practice and became a part owner of Bjørkelangen Veterinary Office AS. Her responsibilities encompassed large and small animal practices, where she collaborated with other veterinarians in the district.
Passion for advancing animal breeding and genetics
Over the years, Jorid's dedication and commitment led her to expand her expertise further. In 2021, Jorid embarked on a new challenge as a veterinarian in reproduction at Geno SA, where she demonstrated her passion for advancing animal breeding and genetics. Her outstanding performance and deep understanding of the industry have now led her to her current role as Key Account Manager responsible for assisting Geno’s partners in markets such as UK, Italy, and France, putting to work both her practical knowledge of challenges on-farm and commercial competence to drive results for dairy producers within her region.
